Technically speaking.
We're the best.

Our unrivalled technical team includes over a decade of knowledge in lithium-ion battery production. World-leading expertise in engineering, maintenance, QA and support functions enables us to remain at the forefront of the electrification evolution, as the only mass-producing battery plant in the UK.

Career development & training.

With employee progression bridging schemes, exciting graduate & placement programmes, and rewarding apprenticeship schemes, we have a culture with learning and development at its heart. External and internal training are regularly implemented for all of our employees, with something new to learn every day.

Rhys originally started in Production but took the step to move into Maintenance through the Bridging Technician Scheme, where he will receive a formal qualification at the end of the programme. He is looking forward to learning and growing in his role through continued college and on-the-job training.

“I’m very mechanically-minded and thrive on being hands-on and finding solutions for challenges. AESC have been amazing in supporting my transition from Production to Maintenance. As soon as the company knew that I was interested in progressing they encouraged me to push myself out of my comfort zone and take on new challenges to get there.”
