Engineering the future of battery technology.

Our engineers are the innovators behind our technology. Manufacturing engineer jobs mean working cross-functionally with a range of different departments such as production and maintenance, they come together as a powerful force, shaping and influencing the future of our batteries and processes. Whether you’re working as a Process or Facility Engineer, you’ll find a structured career path with plenty of opportunities to progress and develop your future with AESC.

Process Engineers.

Our Process Engineers are responsible for qualifying new plants and processes as well as ensuring our lines run as efficiently as possible, minimising scrap, maximising our output and optimising the processes that produce our world-leading battery technology.

Each of our manufacturing areas (A, B, C and D) have one Lead Engineer managing a team of several Process Engineers. Working with a high degree of autonomy, these teams attend daily meetings to understand what is happening on the line and responding to any challenges that may arise.

Made up of a mix of mechanical, chemical and electrical engineers, our Process Engineering teams play a key role in the development of the plant. These are manufacturing engineer jobs that often require all hands on deck, and there may be times you need to deviate from your usual shift pattern to help solve a problem. It’s not always easy – but you’ll be rewarded with a clear career path, competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.

From joining as a Quality Engineer Richard quickly moved into projects, working across departments such as Quality, Engineering, Production and Production Control. International travel is a regular feature of his role, with trips to France, Portugal and Italy just some of the locations he has been able to work in while fulfilling manufacturing engineer jobs.

“Prior to my promotion to PMO Manager, in my role as Projects Engineer there was always something new to learn and experience.
I get to work with some of the best people in the industry across different cultures and skillsets, but with one common goal – to get the job done. You feel very valued as an employee here at AESC, and the flexibility and support I have received in my role has been second-to-none.”

Facility Engineers.

Facility Engineers work across the plant, covering both plant and equipment.

As an AESC Facility Engineer you’ll be responsible for commissioning new plants and equipment, overseeing service and maintenance contracts for the high-tech equipment we rely on to produce our batteries, working with partners and suppliers on a daily basis.

Our Facility Engineers have a broad remit, experiencing every area of our plant and working closely with contractors who complete services in each area. You’ll work cross-functionally with various departments and manufacturing engineer jobs to develop and introduce improvements, drawing on the collaboration we pride ourselves on to find the answers.
