AESC is a world leading Lithium Ion Battery manufacturer located in the North East of England. We are currently expanding our operations to support the development and operation of a new world class and innovative mass manufacturing Gigafactory. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new and rapidly growing industry.

With ambitious expansion plans already unveiled, our SCM Graduate program is designed to fill our future SCM vacancies.

You will be integrated into an SCM team liaising with all departments from your first day and be responsible for delivering results to improve and grow our business. You will be part of the team that ensures successful plant operations through effective management of global supplies, as well as being involved in the new plant start-up.

Outline and Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with manufacturing stakeholders and our diverse customers to plan production that meets demand
  • Work with and develop component suppliers to ensure they support our rapidly growing business
  • Assessing our inbound logistics schemes and working to improve lead time, efficiency and cost
  • Developing and managing processes to ensure we control a lean inventory profile
  • Managing projects to deliver our SCM growth plan
Experience and Qualifications Required:
  • As a minimum requirement you’ll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:1 in your Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Highly motivated Graduates who are passionate about working as a team to drive our future growth
  • Individuals that are able to take responsibility and want to gain hands on experience
  • Good communication and problem solving skills.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK.
